Psalm 103
Dear Father,
Thank you and praise you for who you are and what you do. I bless you and praise you – the one who forgives our sins and heals our diseases, who redeems us from the pit and crowns us with love and compassion, who satisfies our desires with good things so our youth is renewed like the eagle’s. Praise you Lord that just as you made your way known to Moses, and your deeds to the people of Israel, you make your ways known to us. You are compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love and you do not treat us as our sins deserve but have compassion over us. Praise you, Lord, you are very great – clothed with splendor and majesty, wrapped in light with a garment. You spoke the world into being and knew me before I was in my mother’s womb. You created all out of nothing and have all power to do anything.
We will exalt you, we will praise your name forever and ever. Every day we will praise you and extol your name. For Great are you Lord and most worthy of praise, your greatness no one can fathom. One generation will tell of your works to the next, they will tell of your mighty acts; they will speak of the glorious splendor of your presence and I will meditate on your wonderful works. Lord, we declare your glory among the nations – among all the peoples of the earth. So they may know you and bring glory to your name, the one who created them.
Father, though we and our world are fallen, you have bought us back through the blood of Christ and you have given us the power that raised Him from the dead through the Spirit of truth, the Holy Spirit. You are righteous in all your ways. You are my Rock, Redeemer, Healer, Maker, Sustainer, my All in All, my Light, my Salvation. I will praise you Lord all my life. I will sing praise to you as long as I live. Your love endures forever. You uphold the cause of the oppressed and give food to the hungry, you set prisoners free, and you give sight to the blind. You are Holy, Just, Good, Powerful, Merciful, Kind.
We glorify you, Lord. We exalt your name.
wE GLORIFY YOU, Lord. You bought us back through your Son, Praise forever.
