Matthew 9:23—26
Precious LORD and Savior,
Nothing is impossible for You! You always make a difference even in impossible situations. Lord, we are in the midst of such a difficult situation, facing a position that we did not choose to be in. We come before you with heavy hearts, bowing humbly at Your feet. When we enter Your house to worship – it’s You who receives the honor, the glory, and the praise. It’s Your Words we rely on to guide us and direct our paths that lead to righteousness. Traditions passed down through the ages remind us that You are God and You have redeemed us – we belong to You
Our strongest desire LORD is to follow You and obey Your commands. Thank you Jesus for Your sacrifice on the cross, paying for our sins with your dear sweet life. Draw us closer and closer to You Lord and provide a way out of this mess – a way that will ensure our Wesleyan traditions will stay intact in the years to come.
Jesus, there is nothing that you cannot do – as you gave the synagogue’s leader’s daughter back to her father – please make a way for us as well.

“And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.
