Our team is ready to welcome you

 MEET OUR  pastors

JERRY HOUSE

Lead Pastor

Jerry grew up in a pastor’s home, which meant plenty of moving from East Texas to Houston, Katy, Texarkana, and Georgetown. Along the way, he developed a love for music and went on to study it at Southwestern University. As a kid, Jerry dreamed of becoming a professional football player, but after classical training, he briefly considered a very different path, singing opera.

During a college youth program, Jerry sensed a clear call to ministry, and that calling has shaped his life ever since. At the heart of his ministry is a simple but powerful message: God’s love. Jerry is passionate about helping people understand that God loves them deeply and personally and that He sent Jesus for them. As Jerry often shares, “When I came to realize the love God had for me, it changed everything. It reshaped how I see myself and what I’m here to do.”

Jerry and his wife have three kids and love doing life together. He enjoys cooking, being outdoors, and, of course, music, whether singing or listening.

Fun fact: Growing up, his favorite band was Journey.

KRIS BAGLEY

Senior Associate Pastor

Kris grew up primarily in Houston and graduated from Houston Baptist University. As the son of a Methodist pastor, church was a consistent part of his life from an early age. In his early twenties, though, his faith became personal. That season marked a shift from simply attending church to fully owning his relationship with God, and it continues to shape the way he pastors today.

Kris is passionate about helping people recognize and respond to the presence of God. He often shares that it is easy to overlook something so powerful, yet the presence of God is one of the primary ways He reveals His power to us. For Kris, the work of the Holy Spirit is not just meaningful, it is life-changing.

Kris and his family love to travel whenever they can, especially when it means reconnecting with friends. A recent trip to Colombia was a highlight for all of them.

Fun fact: On family trips, they make it a point to visit Major League Baseball stadiums. So far, they have made it to 17.

BRIAN SMITH

Student & College Pastor

Brian grew up in Denton, Texas and later attended Texas A&M University in College Station, where he earned a degree in Agricultural Economics and Business. While in college, he got his start in student ministry, and what began as an opportunity quickly became a calling. Brian often says he went to college to earn a degree but found his true path through ministry.

Brian loves walking alongside students as they grow in their faith and step into each new season of life. From student ministry to college and beyond, he finds joy in seeing them mature, build lasting relationships, and deepen their walk with the Lord. Being part of that journey is one of the greatest privileges of his role at Christ Church.

Fun fact: Brian has a bit of a daredevil side and will take on just about any challenge you give him.

GARRY MASTERSON

Congregational Care Pastor

Garry was born in Louisville, Kentucky and lived there until age twelve, when his family moved to Dallas, Texas. He attended Texas A&M University for two years before transferring to the University of Texas, where he earned his degree in Art.

After finishing school in Austin, Garry returned to College Station and began teaching high school art. During that time, he was deeply involved in his church and began to sense a growing call to ministry. He felt led to pray boldly for the church and to trust that God would move and use him right where he was. That season became a turning point, shaping the direction of his life and ministry.

Garry has since built a life he loves in College Station with his wife and family, and he is grateful to be part of what God is doing through Christ Church.

Fun fact: Garry enjoys acrylic painting and playing golf with his wife.

WILL AGNOR

Contemporary Worship Pastor

Will was born and raised in College Station, where he attended A&M Consolidated High School. As a student, he was part of the youth ministry at Christ Church, and it was here that he met Jesus at fourteen years old.

In high school, Will began leading worship, which became the starting point for his calling into ministry. He often shares that the same summer he asked his mom for a guitar was the same summer the youth director asked him to lead worship, a moment that still makes him smile.

Will feels grateful to call College Station home and to be part of Christ Church, where he has seen both the church and his own family grow over the years. He and his wife are raising their kids here and love being part of this community.

Fun fact: Will enjoys playing disc golf in his free time, along with discovering fun and unique board games.
