Psalm 113:3
Father, we praise You with our hearts, thoughts, and actions as the sun rises today. We praise You for Your promises, Your mercy, Your guidance, and above all Your son. Thank You, Lord, that you have given us life with Your Word incarnate.
Abba, we yield to You as our great shepherd – ever faithful, loving, and just. We are prone to wander, to get lost, ensnared, and yet You always seek us out – guiding us back into the fold of peace and life. Thank you that You are always with us – a constant presence in an ever-changing world. You are even more constant than the rising and setting of the sun, as even the sun is Your creation. Thank You, Lord, that even as the sun is high or hidden, You keep watch over us.
