A Journey Through Jesus' Final Days

January 12 - March 2

Join us this Easter season as we journey through the incredible determination of Jesus in fulfilling His Father’s mission—right up to His final words, “It is finished.” We will seek to examine the determination that Jesus had in going through with his Father’s mission until “it is finished.” We’ll look closely at one massive miraculous occurrence that finally drove the Pharisees to seek Jesus’ life.

We’d love for you to be part of this special time with us!

Weekly Themes

March 9th - Jesus Set His Face

Luke 9:55 - When the days drew near for him to be taken up he set his face to go to Jerusalem.

March 16th - Enough is Enough

John 11:1-44, 45-57

When Jesus raised Lazarus from the grave, it was a sign that Jesus does indeed have power and authority over death. We even see a hint at Jesus being fed up with the pain of death. We see the Pharisees, in turn, fed up with Jesus and decide that he must die. In many ways, the events around Lazarus’ tomb was the tipping point for the crucifixion.

March 23rd - Church Has Left the Building

March 30th - Clean This Temple

John 2:13-21

What happened when Jesus turned over tables and set things right in the Temple? Why was this so bothersome for religious leaders? What does the cross overturn and how does it do so?

April 6th - The Anointed King

John 12:1-7

There’s so much to go into here! The cost, the jar, Judas’ response.

Some questions: What does this anointing say about Jesus? We see his feed, rather than his head. We see perfume instead of oil. In Luke 7, it’s tears that anoint Jesus. Why is he worthy of an anointing like this?

April 13th - What Can 30 Pieces of Silver Buy You?

Matthew 26:6-13

This examines Judas’ betrayal. What was driving Judas’ actions? What drives the actions of anyone who betrays Jesus? What does betrayal look like? How does Jesus treat betrayers? Why would a powerful God allow himself to be betrayed? What can we learn and emulate from Jesus’ vulnerability here?

Ash Wednesday

March 5 | 6 pm | the Sanctuary

Join us for this very special service that marks the beginning of the season of Lent. Lent is a time when many Christians prepare for Easter by observing a period of fasting, repentance, moderation and spiritual discipline. This worship service will call us to abide deeply with Christ during the 40 days leading up to Easter.

Palm Sunday

Sunday April 13th, all services

Palm Sunday is the Sunday before Easter when we celebrate the triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem as described in the four Gospels. This Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week. Its name originates from the palm branches waved by the crowed to greet and honor Jesus as he entered the city. Come and join us in this service as we are led into worship with the Children waving palm branches and singing Hosanna! Hosanna!

Good Friday

April 18 | 7:00-8:00 pm | the Sanctuary

Good Friday is the evening we come together and reflect on the greatest sacrifice ever made. We will walk through the seven last words (phrases) of Jesus as he hung on the cross. This service will include dramatic music presented by the Sanctuary and Orchestra and handbells. Walking through this service makes the experience of Easter morning much richer. Come and experience all this service offers.

We hope that you will join us during this series. Our service streams weekly online if you cannot attend in person.

See you Sunday!

Watch Live on Sundays

He has always loved you.

And He will never stop loving you.

The reason He loves you like He does is because He created you in His image. He even knew you before you ever took your first breath.

That’s why He loves you like He does.

Will you accept what He did through Jesus to prove His love for you

We hope you will. The consequence of your decision is incomprehensible. To choose to live your life outside of a relationship with Jesus is Hell.

To choose Jesus as your Lord and Savior is life forever with Him in the perfection of Heaven.
